Welcome to the Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy (NDPMA) Parents Club 24th Annual Fashion Show "Roaring 2021"! The Fashion Show has become an annual tradition where family, friends, and guests come together with the NDPMA community to share in delicious food, beautiful fashions and great company.

Every year our Committee gets together during our planning sessions with the expressed intent to improve on the previous years' Shows. We focus on enhancing your experience by adding elements of uniqueness to every program. This year we took inspiration from the 1925 novel "The Great Gatsby".

Our show theme The Roaring Twenties (sometimes stylized as the Roarin' Twenties) refers to the decade of the 1920s in Western society and Western culture. It was a period of economic prosperity with a distinctive cultural edge in the United States and Europe. The social and cultural features known as the Roaring Twenties began in leading metropolitan centers and spread widely in the aftermath of World War I. Pop culture during the 1920s was characterized by the flapper, automobiles, nightclubs, movies, and jazz. The spirit of the Roaring Twenties was marked by a general feeling of novelty associated with modernity and a break with tradition.

Our Notre Dame community has families who are need of your support.

As you may know, tuition revenues do not cover all the school's operating expenses, so we rely on our parent community's generosity with giving time and financial support to cover the gap.

The Notre Dame Financial Aid need has grown over the years, however, this past school year families who were in need of support grew by 31%. We are proud we were able to help 90 families (105 students) with financial support to stay or attend Notre Dame Prep and Marist Academy for the 2020-2021 school year.

There were many unique circumstances new and existing families faced this year and due to limited funds, we prioritized our current families. We have families whose business was interrupted by the pandemic. We have families where a parent lost their job or were furloughed for months. Whatever the reason for the need, we did our best to assist.

The reality is there will always be families who have unforeseen situations happen that will cause them to need temporary or long-term support. Therefore, your financial support is so important.

Our "Wine Cellar Pull" gives our guests an opportunity to receive a bottle of wine valued at $25 or more. You just purchase a cork pull at the time you purchase your ticket or a wine auction item.  Your cork pull number is system generated and assigned at the point of purchase.  Our team has randomly assigned a number to over 100 bottles of wine. Your cork pull number will be matched to the already numbered bottle of wine valued at $25 or more. This is a fun event and everyone's a winner.

 Pulling this show together this year was more than an notion.  Navigating this pandemic has been tough for everyone, but our students have felt the weight of adhering to all of the new protocols plus not having the outlet and activities that are so important to their high school experience.  This committee took on the challenge of moving this experience virtually and incorporating all of the fine arts.  Several hours of practicing, filming and editing while adhering to social distancing and sanitation protocols was not easy but so worth it for our kids.  Take a look behind the scene!
